"Just right." A perfect sanctuary on quiet Cumberland Street, just a short walk from the city centre. The flat was light, spacious and nicely decorated - in fact I'd go so far as to say the pictures don't do it justice! It had everything we needed for our 5 night stay plus a few thoughtful extra touches. Would definitely recommend.

"Great place to stay while visiting Edinburgh" We truly enjoyed our stay in this apartment for several reasons. It is located in an ideal location, close to the Royal Mile, within easy walking distance of most of the top sites in Edinburgh. it provides a quiet refuge after a busy day of sightseeing. It truly felt like our home away from home with the extra touches the owner has provided. It is by far one of the best apartments we have let in our travels.

"Great location, accommodation and super host" The accommodation was perfect for our party of 3. We were greeted with some essential groceries which saved us a trip to the nearby Tesco Express... "Great apartment in a central location with a warm welcome from the owner." We're a family of five and have just returned home from a fantastic weekend away in Edinburgh. When we arrived Eve was there to meet us and left bread, eggs, jam, milk, chocolate, drinks....lovely! The apartment was perfect-so near to all the main attractions, we could walk everywhere and pop back if needed during the day. I would highly recommend Eve's place to anybody who's looking for a convenient, clean, attractive apartment to enjoy everything Edinburgh has to offer. We can't wait to return! Thanks Eve!

"Wonderful apartment, Great location..." We stayed at this beautiful 3 bed apartment from 17th until the 20th Feb 2013. We were a group of 5 adults consisting of my wife and I, my youngest daughter, my eldest daughter and her partner. The apartment was wonderful, with a beautiful large entrance hall, 3 VERY good size bedrooms (they are all genuine doubles), two bathrooms, a very well fitted kitchen complete with integrated fridge, dishwasher & washing machine, and a very comfortable and accommodating lounge. The apartment is in a wonderful location to explore what Edinburgh has to offer, we were including a visit to the Zoo to see the Pandas, and the property was only a 20 min easy drive from the Zoo, located in the 'docklands' area of Leith which has undergone a massive redevelopment, the apartment is just across the road from the 'Ocean Terminal' shopping center which houses all the shops you could want and is also the access to the Royal Yacht Britannia, yet just a couple of mins walk along the beautifully retained cobbled street outside the converted warehouses rings you to the 'Shore' area of Leith, the waterfront area with an abundance of restaurants and bars, we had a wonderful meal at Giuliano's on the shore, live music on a Monday...!. Getting around couldn't be easier, if like us, you don't want to try and find parking in the city center, then just a short walk across the road (about 600mts) to the Ocean Terminal brings you the the Bus stands where many of the bus routes terminate (outside the shopping center), from here just about all buses go to the city center, about a 10 min ride, and a day ticket is quite cheap (£3.40 when we stayed) and allows you to jump on any bus. I cannot recommend this property highly enough, it provided all we hoped for and more, it was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented and equipped, and offered fantastic value for money, and I would deferentially recommend this apartment to anyone who want's to enjoy what Edinburgh has to offer.

"Excellent accommodation and location for Edinburgh and surrounding areas" The Annexe provides excellent and well appointed accommodation for a couple wishing to explore Edinburgh (a 15 min bus journey) and the surrounding areas. We went for the festival and The Annexe provided an excellent base with everything you could want in a 'home from home'. The owner has thought of everything from washing-up liquid (and dishwasher tablets!) to super soft towels. We would recommend The Annexe without hesitation.

"Homely week in Edinburgh" Our stay at Montgomery was just wonderful. The appartement is new, clean and spacey with a lot of furniture to store your stuff. We were one couple and two women, which worked wonderful with one of the woman sleeping in the living room. With this option we saved a lof of money since the kitchen is very inviting and everything is there (except food, of course), so we managed to eat at home most of the time. We were there during the fringe and really had a super inexpensive accomodation with a lof of luxury. Of course a hostel could be cheaper, but not nearly as valueable as this option. Only thing that one might consider is, that the distance to the underbelly is like a 20 min walking distance. Maybe thats too much for some. We liked it, since this way we had a nice walk every day and lost not only the good pounds, but also some of the bad pounds :-D

"Great apartment" We decided to go to Edinburgh to celebrate a special wedding anniversary and chose the apartment cos it had an open fire and it seemed reasonably priced. From the beginning, contact with the owner was excellent - Mark made himself available for whatever questions we had and met us on arrival, giving us a hand with our luggage, and advising us of the best place to park, what to visit, what restaurants were good etc. The actual apartment was well equipped, spacey with great decoration and with many original features - the fire was brill and the apartment's location was within walking distance of most tourist spots if you don't mind walking 10-15 minutes (except the castle which is a good 30 minutes up a steep hill but great if you want to get the blood pumping!) The only slight downsides were the apartment is on the third floor so lots of steps - this didn't bother us but may if you struggle with stairs - and there is no parking outside the property but, again, there is some available a short walk away. All round, we had a great time in Edinburgh and staying in this lovely apartment added to this - it was like home from home, highly recommended.

"Fantastic, Great Apartment, Clean, Homely, everything you could want, and super welcome Box of groceries" We had a super time at apartment 39, we found it spotless, and Homely. the furnishings were in great order and everything that we wanted was there. The position of the apartment was ideal for us as everything is in walking distance, from Live Shows, Shopping ,even Murryfield Stadium. Buses were just down the road and they would take you everywhere you wanted to go, The Castle was just a road away and could be viewed from the Apartment,

"Very very good" I cannot recommend highly enough. Excellent communication before visit and then met by owner when we arrived early. Owner showed us around apartment and told us where things were and how things worked, this made settling in very easy. Apartment has superb location just below castle in walking distances of Edinburgh sites just off the Royal Mile. It is clean, well furnished and comfortable with everything you need. I would stay again.

"This tasteful mews house was welcoming, convenient, clean and comfortablele, quiet" My husband and I first went to the Edinburgh festival for honeymoon 41 years ago and have been going ever since, missing only a few years when our children were tiny. Consequently we have stayed in many different places in Edinburgh. This house was a gem and only a ten minute walk from Princes Street in a very quiet courtyard. We could have bought it ourselves - it was so delightful, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay there. We are booking it again for next year's festival!!

"Wow what an amazing flat!" We had a fantastic stay at the flat. Located in a beautiful mansion building with Costa at the foot of the stairs this was a great place for our city visit. Our arrival was seamless and the flat was cosy and absolutely stunning with a lovely fire. It was a great base for exploring and the comfortable beds were most welcome at the end of a long day. The Royal Mile is a great location for exploring and there is so much to do. We will be back. Just to mention the steps aren't for the faint hearted however I was much fitter after the weekend!!!

"Lovely Apartment, very homely, really enjoyed my stay, the children didnt want to leave." Excellent standard apartment, lovely and clean, very much recomemended. Close to city centre, and supermarked. The 3 children and baby had lots of room they had a double bed each. We loved the jacuzzi. We didnt want to leave. Great value for money.
